The Purpose of the Friends of the Burnham Library is to stimulate public use of the library, provide financial assistance to the library, and sponsor programs for all members of the community.
The Friends group is the primary fundraising arm of the library, providing funding for capital improvements, books, and technological upgrades.
We welcome your participation as we plan future events for the benefit of the library. If you enjoy meeting new people and you like the idea of helping your library community (and by extension, the town in whcih you live), the Friends group invites you to join us at our monthly meetings. Babysitting is provided.
